Videos

"Girls just want to have fun" played out how I thought it should in the video. The video portrayed a young girl letting lose and being a rebel. The story makes sense. "Love is a Battlefield" on the other hand was harder to understand. Benatar stood out to me the most. When the video first starts you seem to think the song might represent the feelings between Benatar and her parents. As the video goes on you realize that the video is showed a scarier side to her freedom.
Benatar's video by far was the strongest. Women in this video are empowered, and they stand together for protection. "Love is Battlefield" is portraying the mistreatment of women. All of the men in this video tend to be pretty old which makes the story even more creepy.
My video is Walk this Way" by Aerosmith and Run DMC. "Walk this Way" is a major step with racial  seperation. The combining of these two musical geniuses  baffled millions of listeners. This song also was a turning point in musical television. Once this video was released music channels began to play a wider variety of music. The two previous videos help me to notice the finer details with the video I have chosen.
